The Krell K-300i incorporates a newly developed amplifier circuit design with the latest version of iBias. Krell boasts that this tech provides the sonic purity of Class A operation without the excessive heat and power consumption that’s associated with it. Also, Krell Current Mode topology with fully differential circuitry running from the input stage through to the last output gain stage ensures an extremely linear and extended frequency response.
A 770VA transformer is at the heart of the K-300i’s power supply, which aims to enable precise signal control and effortless dynamic range. Power output is rated at 150W per channel into 8ohm, doubling to 300W per channel into 4ohm
The integrated high-end DAC section utilises an ESS Sabre Pro chipset. It also includes UPnP network streaming and aptX Bluetooth connectivity, as well as optical, coaxial, USB and HDMI 2.0 digital inputs, and an HDMI output supporting 4K UHD with HDR – perfect for watching hi-def films with audiophile sound quality.
