Utilising premium componentry throughout and push-pull valve technology with a pentode power stage, the 25W Class A output is powerful enough to match with a wide variety of loudspeakers. When paired with a suitable set of speakers, it will deliver a complete sound; airy, dynamic, lively, and incredibly musical. The purity of human voices and accuracy of instruments is breath-taking, while resolution, transparency and detailed sound are above and beyond that which one would expect from an amplifier of this price. Thanks to Synthesis’ intimate knowledge of proper transformer design, the performance is also completely reliable and consistent.
Bringing absolute convenience to its design, the ROMA 96DC+ features an array of inputs. For analogue sources there are two standard Line (RCA) inputs, as well as a high-quality moving magnet phono stage. On the digital side, by integrating a premium Asahi Kasei AK4495S DAC chip, the included Optical and Coaxial inputs can support high-resolution, 24-bit music sources, while the additional USB input can support PCM data up-to 32-bit / 384kHz and DSD data up-to 5.6MHz, effectively covering every music file available on the market today.
