T-Series
This new T-Line showcases Pro-Ject’s aim to offer affordable-yet-audiophile turntable solutions for music lovers. T1 achieves this with a plug-and-play set-up process for optimal simplicity while sticking to the principle of industry-leading acoustics and prioritising the top materials.
T1 is based on a stylish CNC-machined plinth with no plastic components and meticulously built to prevent hollow spaces inside and avoid undesired vibrations. Mounted inside the plinth is a precision belt drive system affixed to a newly designed sub-platter which is engineered to peak tolerances for stable mounting into the main bearing; the same mechanism that is featured on the multi-award winning Essential III turntable. The sub-platter moves the new heavy, zero-resonance glass platter with complete stability creating a seamless playback surface for vinyl records.
The tonearm is a new 8.6” model with a larger one-piece aluminium tube and enhanced gimble bearing assembly with low-friction parts for total accuracy in use. Mounted with an Ortofon OM 5E cartridge incorporating an elliptical diamond stylus for great sound, the tonearm is pre-set for downforce and anti-skate settings removing need for a complicated set-up; you can play straight out of the box
The external RCA leads provided with T1 turntables are accurately shielded, semi-symmetrical, low-capacitance phono cables. Other accessories are supplied including a detachable dust cover. T1 comes in a choice of three high-quality finish options; Gloss Black, Matte Walnut or Matte White.
