The NEW Dali Rubikore On-Wall Speakers can be used as the side or rear speakers in a home cinema system. They are narrower than other types to make them less obtrusive. Moreover, they have a rotatable tweeter pod that enables the speakers to be placed horizontally or vertically.

There is also a “Clarity Cone” bass/mid driver and improved crossover inductors. The sound is warm and smooth. Additionally, the ribbon tweeter extends the high-frequency response. Lastly, the quality cabinet is hand-assembled and resonance-free.

New Clarity Cone drivers
A new “clarity Cone “ driver is used in the Dali Rubikore On Wall Speaker. This also has an SMC magnet. Soft Magnetic Compound is a granular material that has excellent properties at audio frequencies. It can be shaped and has the effect of reducing the eddy currents that can lead to losses. It also has a more even frequency response. As a result, non-linearity and distortion are reduced.

Why a narrow speaker?
The Dali Rubikore On Wall Speaker has a narrow form factor specifically designed to be wall mountable. This is intended to make them suitable for surround sound home cinema systems. 5.1 systems only require a rear set of surround speakers. However, more complex systems such as Dolby Atmos also have side and height speakers.

Low-loss dome tweeter
The first tweeter in the Dali Rubikore On Wall Speaker is a low-loss domed type. This is ferrofluid-cooled and can handle high power levels. Moreover, the surrounding waveguide disperses high frequencies over a wider area. Notably, this improves clarity.

The Ribbon tweeter
On the other hand, the ribbon tweeter extends the high-frequency response up to 34kHz. The construction of ribbon tweeters is more complex than with domed tweeters. They contain a very flexible diaphragm. The diaphragm is light and can respond much faster to short-wavelength sounds. As a result, the high-frequency response is extended.

Upgraded crossover
The Dali Rubikore On Wall Speaker features a two-way crossover. This contains upgraded inductors that use the same SMC material as the bass/midrange units. The crossover splits the audio band for feeding to each driver. With a two-way speaker, this is just a high-pass filter.

Danish quality cabinets
The enclosure of the Rubikore range is handmade in Denmark. The best low-resonance materials are used and each is well braced. Moreover, the front baffle is slightly curved to break up standing waves. Four luxury finishes are available High gloss white, high gloss black, natural walnut, and high gloss maroon
